St Patrick’s Day meeting
A MEETING of Rathdrum St Patrick’s Day parade will take place on Tuesday, March 3, at 7 p.m. in the Anne Devlin Annex, Rathdrum.

THE Laragh/Glendalough Sustainable Energy Community has appointed consultants from the 3 Counties Energy Agency to undertake a survey of energy usage in the area and to identify options for reducing our dependency on fossil fuels.
This will form part of an Energy Master Plan that will help the group draw down funding to upgrade buildings, both domestic and public, with a view to making them more energy efficient and more comfortable.
A public meeting with the 3 Counties Energy Agency and a representative from the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI) will be held on Wednesday, March 11 at 7.30 p.m. in the Brockagh Centre.
This meeting will outline details of the survey and to explain the data that will be needed to compile the Energy Master Plan.
The survey will cover the following townlands: Laragh village, Laragh East, Laragh West, Brockagh, Camaderry, Derrybawn, Lugduff, Dummin, Glebe, Carrigeenshinnagh, Carrigeenduff, Cloghoge, Cullentragh, Big Cullentragh, Little Ballard, Ballard Park, Ballylug, Ballulusk, Trooperstown, Clara More, Clarabeg North, Clarabeg South and Knockrath Big.
Information will also be provided on grants available from SEAI for energy upgrades.
