DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE AGM
The AGM of Annacurra Development Committee will take place this Thursday evening, February 27, at 8.30 p.m. in the community centre.
We are hoping to put a bigger committee together to look after the whole village, not just the walk, and to enter this year’s Tidy Towns, please come along, everyone’s input is very welcome.
COMMUNITY GAMES
Our area activities are busy with art handwriting and quiz in the schools.
The County Wicklow team blitz takes place next Sunday in Dunlavin Community School with our under-13 girls indoor soccer under manager Oisin Jordan. Under-15 girls and boys badminton teams under Andrew and Anne Marie Doyle and our under-13 and under-16 chess teams coached by Séamus Duffy and managed by Majella and Rachael so thank you to all of the above for your continued support. The blitz begins at midday with indoor soccer.
GAA LOTTO
results for February 17 Numbers drawn were 2, 13, 19 and 22. No jackpot winner. Match-three winner, Andy Whelan. Next jackpot €3.000. Draw is held in the Saltee on Monday night.
LOURDES INVALID DRAW
Tickets to support the Invalid section of the Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes 2020 are available in the basket at the back of the church and in the sacristy. The pilgrimage takes place from May 9 to May 14. Cost from €749. Forms for pilgrims and assisted Pilgrims available in the sacristy or from Fr Sheridan.
45 CARD DRIVE
The next 45 card drive will be on Friday, February 28, in the Saltee, starting at 9 p.m.
