Gus and Richard O’Connor report Patricia O’Connor missing at Rathfarnham Garda Station 1.39 p.m. Keith Johnston arrives at house. 2.33 p.m. Keith Johnston in garden with piece of timber and told gardaí he noticed piece of wood in bathroom gone soft.

4-5 p.m. Kieran Greene seen purchasing ‘highly specialised tools’ in the company of Keith Johnston at Woodie’s, Mr Price, B&Q and Shoe Zone in Tallaght.

First body part of Patricia O’Connor is found by picnickers at Old Bogey along The Military Road.
JUNE 10 – JUNE 14 2017 The other 14 body parts of Patricia O’Connor’s remains found in Dublin and Wicklow mountains. Former Deputy State Pathologist, Dr Michael Curtis, performs postmortems on all body parts.

Louise, Stephanie and Keith Johnston says Kieran Greene told them he had killed Patricia O’Connor before he [Kieran Greene] goes to Rathfarnham Garda Station and says he cut up her body and scattered body parts in Dublin mountains.

Kieran Greene brings gardaí to corn field in Blackwater, Co Wexford, to show them where he buried Patricia O’Connor.

Kieran Greene, who is on remand in Cloverhill Prison, makes contact with gardaí and asks to speak to them about the case.

Kieran Greene tells gardaí that what he originally said on June 12 was not correct and other family members had been involved. Kieran Greene also says Gus intervened in his row with Patricia O’Connor and killed his wife using a crowbar.

Louise, Stephanie, Gus and Keith Johnston (charged with purchase of tools at DIY stores) are charged with impeding an investigation into Patricia O’Connor’s murder.

Keith Johnston charged with refurbishing bathroom to conceal evidence.
JANUARY 14, 2020
Gus pleads guilty to impeding murder investigation of his wife Patricia O’Connor. Kieran Greene arraigned at Central Criminal Court and pleads not guilty to murdering Patricia O’Connor. Louise, Stephanie and Keith Johnston also arraigned and plead not guilty to impeding investigation.
JANUARY 15 2020
The trial of the four accused begins.

The jury are told that Gus pleaded guilty to reporting his wife Patricia O’Connor as a missing person, knowing she was already dead, shortly before the trial had begun
