Whale Theatre’s survey

-

WHALE Theatre in Greystones has launched an audience feedback survey to help it plan for the future, as it look towards reopening in September.

The aim of the survey is to help the theatre bring audiences the shows they would like to see, and to communicate with people in the best way possible.

The theatre has now postponed all of its planned events up until September.

It had hoped to welcome audiences back but the publication of the ‘Roadmap for Reopening Society and Business’ has led to putting off the entire summer programme.

‘We have made the very difficult decision to postpone all scheduled events until September at the earliest,’ said a representative from Whale Theatre.

Anyone with a ticket for an event that has been postponed will be contacted for the rescheduled date.

Tickets already purchased will still be valid for the rescheduled date.

Those unable to attend on the new date will be offered a full refund.

‘Over the coming months, we will be working hard to make sure the theatre is safe for when we are able to reopen.

‘This may involve some changes to the way we are able to present events,’ said Whale in a statement.

‘Event capacities may need to be restricted to much lower numbers than usual. Movement within the theatre may be limited and new systems will need to put in place.

‘But rest assured it will still be the same smiling faces that greet you at the door once we are able to reopen them.’
