Newtown is now back open for customers to shop

-

THE local Community Forum for Newtownmountkennedy are keen to get the message across that the town is back open for business following the lifting of Covid-19 restrictions.

The majority of shops and businesses in Newtown are back up and running, and like the rest of the country, they are having to adapt to their new way of life.

Ciara Perks, PRO for Newtownmountkennedy Community Forum, is delighted to see Newtown is opening back up and also praises the shops and businesses that remained open during the pandemic, ensuring life for members of the community was made that little bit easier during extremely uncertain times.

‘It is fantastic to see Newtownmountkennedy open back up,’ said Ciara.

‘It has been a tough few months but Newtownmountkennedy businesses and their staff are going above and beyond in such new and different times.

‘They are the lifeline for many in our ever growing Community so we would encourage everyone to shop local when they can. The Community has been amazing as they always are taking care of each other. We have got through this together with hope and optimism and will continue on this new journey together.’

Newtownmountkennedy Community Forum also urge residents to shop local and support local business as they get back on their feet following months of lockdown.
