KNOCKANANNA

-

The club received good news last week when planning permission was granted for the extension to our dressing rooms.

This is a vital step for us especially for the young hurlers and footballers as we look to upgrade our facilities for all the community. Together with the planned completion of the walking track and improved car park facilities we have high hopes to start the projects shortly.

We had a positive reaction to our club plans launch night (pre Covid-19) and we have received fantastic support to date.

As we move forward and some sort of normality resumes, we will be looking for more people to become club patrons to our direct debit scheme. We have almost 30 patrons to date and the target was to get over 65 in total. If you would like to become a patron or make a donation you can get in contact with any committee member.

We have our drive-in bingo on July 12 to try raise funds as well as our weekly lotto. Thank for everyone’s support and we look forward to a safe return to teams taking the field. #staysafe

Knockananna GAA lotto results from June 28 - numbers drawn were 2, 22, 27and 29. No jackpot winner and no match threes. Seller’s prize: Paul Canna. This week’s jackpot is €18,550. Tickets available online now via Clubforce.ie.

Friday night the club resumed training we ask all mentors and players to follow our covid guidelines to keep everyone safe.
