Welcome back to all our players, mentors and supporters we are looking forward to a great season ahead. We hope you all continue to stay safe and we hope you all adhere to all regulation­s being put in place to ensure a safe return to the pitch. Wishing you all the very best for the season ahead.

Arklow Geraldines Ballymoney Executive Committee have been working hard behind the scenes to welcome you all back to the pitches from the June 29. Procedures are being implemente­d in line with HSE, GAA and LGFA regulation­s.

As highlighte­d by the HSE, GAA and LGFA the return to football will be a phased approach.

Covid officers will be working with each team on return to training. We have been in contact with all players and parents with team training times and locations.

Training will be under different circumstan­ces than we are currently used to, but we will endeavour to have football this season and we trust you will support us in implementi­ng the new regulation­s and continue to observe all guidelines. We will keep you updated in the coming days and look forward to seeing you all.

Pitches for adult training opened last Wednesday, June 24. They opened for Minor and below from Saturday, June 27. Both of the above on a non-contact basis and on the understand­ing that players and all participan­ts have completed the eLearning module and are following the control measures in place (health questionna­ire etc.).

AGB’s club shop will be open next Monday and Wednesday evening in Pearse’s Park from 7.30pm to 8.30pm. Drop by and treat yourself to some of our fabulous new club gear for the season ahead. We have a new half zip to keep you cosy on the sidelines. We have new polo shirts in either blue or navy with the club crest. We have children’s t-shirts with the AGB Logo. We also will have club socks on sale.

Prices are: Socks - €10, polos - €25, kids t-shirts - €5, half zips - €35.

Cúl Camp will be in Arklow from July 27 to 31. Bookings must be made online.

AGB’s club summer camp will run from August 17 to 21. Prices are €50 per child. Time is 10am to 2pm each day. Booking must be made prior to the camp. All regulation­s will be in place to ensure we have a safe and successful week. Looking forward to seeing you all. Please book through Sinead on 087 1374812.
