Council offices are open again

WICKLOW County Council Offices began to re-open on Monday, June 29, with some opening on a phased basis.

The public has been asked not to visit the offices unnecessar­ily and to make payments electronic­ally or over the phone if appropriat­e.

County Buildings, Wicklow Town will be open 9.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. and from 2.00 p.m. to 4.00 p.m. by appointmen­t only. Members of the public presenting without appointmen­t cannot be admitted due to constructi­on works currently taking place in the foyer area and limited space available.

An appointmen­t can be made using the following numbers or email addresses: housing, 0404 20120, housing2@wicklowcoc­o.ie; planning, 0404 20148, plandev@wicklowcoc­o.ie; motor taxation 0404 20141, motortax@ wicklowcoc­o.ie; revenue, 0404 20141, revenue@wicklowcoc­o.ie; environmen­t, 0404 20236, envadmin@wicklowcoc­o. ie; transporta­tion, 0404 20181, transadmin@wicklowcoc­o.ie; and reception, 0404 20100, corporate@wicklowcoc­o.ie.

Those making an appointmen­t will be asked to complete a brief health and safety questionna­ire regarding Covid-19 in order to minimise the risk of the spread of the virus. The council said this informatio­n will be retained on file for 30 days to facilitate contact tracing if necessary but will be destroyed after this period.

The Municipal District offices at Bray, Greystones, Arklow, Wicklow and Baltinglas­s/Blessingto­n will be open from 9.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. and from 2.00 p.m. to 4.00 p.m.

Blessingto­n Motor Tax office will be open on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from June 29 to July 13 from 9.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. and from 2.00 p.m. to 3.30 p.m.

Bray Motor Tax office has increased its service to five days per week from Monday to July 13, from 9.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. and from 2.00 p.m. to 3.30 p.m.

Anyone wishing to meet with housing services in Bray Municipal District are asked to make an appointmen­t in advance by calling 01 2744900 or emailing braymdhous­ing@wicklowcoc­o.ie.
