New online Food Village company opens in Rathnew
FOOD Village is a new food company located in Rathnew and offering delivery to a vast area covering Wicklow, South East Dublin and Dun Laoghaire/Rathdown.
Food Village offers a bridge between the pillars of home-cooking, restaurant quality and fast food and the company is now open online.
They offer wholesome handcooked meals, conveniently delivered to your door. Each meal is exclusively made to order using only the freshest ingredients. All you need to do is ‘heat, eat and enjoy.’
Executive head chef Dualtagh McLaughlin has handcrafted a menu full of wholesome meals. He has over 30 years of experience as a chef with multiple awards under his belt including finalist in the Kinsale all-Ireland chowder cook-off.
Michelin Star chef Eamonn Walsh is already a big fan. He said: ‘Characteristically charming, I would be happy to recommend Food Village after I had the pleasure of experiencing the service and enjoying the pre-prepared homecooked style meals on offer by Chef Dualtagh.
‘The homemade Butternut Squash, Coconut and Chilli Soup was my standout dish of which I would describe; velvety, rich and flavoursome. Attention to detail is impeccable from start to finish. Food Village offers a refreshing calibre to convenience home-cooking and it was thoroughly enjoyed by my entire family including my oneyear old Chef de Partie.’
While the menu on offer is small to begin with, there are plans to expand the range of meals provided.

Food Village is proudly presented in conjunction with Freshtoday Wicklow who have experience of over years as a food service provider. Freshtoday is proudly Irish owned, Irish supplied, Irish delivered and have been members of ‘Guaranteed Irish’ since they started in 2009.
Deliveries are available Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and orders can be made up to 30 days in advance.
