How to maximise your website as a sales tool for your business

LOCAL Enterprise Office Wicklow will run an online training course on how a business can maximise its website.

The course costs €15 and is ideal for businesses who have recently availed of a Trading Online Voucher to improve their websites. It takes place on Thursday, February 11 from 9.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m.

Do you have a new website, but aren’t sure how to maximise this new sales tool? This course will walk you through the steps of finding your ideal customer online and driving them to take action on your website with the creation of a digital marketing plan. Don’t let your newly created website just sit there idle, let it help you bring new business direct to your door.

You will learn how to take advantage of the internet and maximise social media platforms to advertise your business through the creation of a digital marketing plan.

Other aspects of the course will include how to determine your ideal customer and find them online, how to create content that will attract your ideal customer, how to engage and communicate with new customers.

You will also be taught how to build a group of prospective clients, how to position products for engagement, drive traffic to the shopping cart, position services for engagement and drive traffic to booking online.
