Raisman wins tuneup meet ahead of US nationals

With two months until the Rio Olympics and the qualifying process not beginning in earnest for another three weeks, the US women showed Saturday night they’re already in formidable form. Simone Biles and Gabby Douglas were impressive in limited appearances at the Secret Classic, while Aly Raisman won the all-around.

The Americans won five medals in London, including golds by the Fierce Five (team), Douglas (all-around) and the 22-year-old Jewish Raisman (floor exercise). Hard as it may be to believe, they’ve only gotten more fearsome since then.
