Six tons of poul­try de­stroyed

A Binyamin-re­gion poul­try fac­tory was shut down Mon­day af­ter health in­spec­tors un­cov­ered a num­ber of se­ri­ous vi­o­la­tions in­clud­ing poul­try past its ex­pi­ra­tion date; un­san­i­tary work­ing con­di­tions; and equip­ment in poor re­pair. As a re­sult, six tons of chicken at the Dabah poul­try pro­cess­ing fac­tory were de­stroyed and au­thor­i­ties from the Mateh Binyamin Re­gional Coun­cil signed an or­der to shut the plant.
