SIGNED, SEALED, DELIVERED

Representatives of the Israel Postal Company present Knesset Speaker Yuli Edelstein (right) with a new stamp honoring the 50th anniversary of the Knesset building yesterday. The stamp’s designer, Rinat Gilboa (not pictured), a former Knesset tour guide, said she was inspired by her work. Gilboa drew the Knesset in the national colors, blue and white, with a Jerusalem stone background. It includes the carvings that can be found on the wall behind the podium in the Knesset plenum, which was sculpted by Danny Karavan in 1966.
