1. Grey Goose

A cultural art event was held at the Tel Aviv Museum sponsored by the prestigiou­s French vodka brand Grey Goose. A number of influentia­l artists displayed an eclectic series of their new creations at the museum, such as dancers flying over a huge trampoline, live sculpting, and a musical performanc­e. Attending were Esti and Miki Akerman, co-CEOs of Akerman, which imports Grey Goose to Israel; Yifat Gurion; Dan Stern and Yigal Ahuvi.

2. Decision-making table

Last week, the Knesset held a conference on equality in the decision-making process, led by MK Ayelet Nahmias-Verbin and Gila Gamliel, the minister of Social Equality. Participat­ing were Prof. Shmuel Hauser, the chairman of the Israeli Securities Authority (ISA); Amnon Neubach, TASE chairman of the board; Dr. Hagit Bulmash, chair of the Israel Bar Antitrust Committee; Nurit Dabush, chairwoman of Bank Yahav; Sharon Kidon, journalist and manager at WePower; and a number of women who serve as directors of public companies.

3. Greenberg Traurig

Last Wednesday, the internatio­nal law firm Greenberg-Traorig held a con- ference at the Dan Hotel in Tel Aviv. Business leaders from Latin America – Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay and Costa Rica – came to Israel for the conference in an effort to generate business between Israel and their countries. Gary Epstein, co-chair of the law firm’s Israel practice, welcomed guests. Attending were Gabriel Hayon, CEO of the Israel Latin America Chamber of Commerce; Patricia Menéndez-Cambó, vice chair of Greenberg Traurig; and Manuel Rajunov, a partner of the firm’s Mexico branch.

4. Dina Levy

A new solo exhibition by artist Dina Levy, titled Holding Tight On, opened on Thursday evening at the Binyamin Gallery in Tel Aviv. The curators of the exhibition are Shira Davidi and Dorit Lautman, who were accompanie­d their husbands, Yishai Davidi and Noam Lautman. Also attending were Ronen Barel, Nava Barak, Shalom Singer and Avi Berger.

5. INSS

The Israel Institute for National Security Studies (INSS) held its tenth annual conference, at which the results of its latest public opinion poll, the Strategic Survey for Israel 2016-2017, was published. Attending were Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman; former head of the CIA David Petraeus; and INSS Director Amos Yadlin, who spoke about US-Israel relations in the Trump era; Frank Lowy, chairman of the INSS Executive Committee; Pini Cohen, INSS chairman of the Board; former deputy chief of staff Yair Golan; Avi Tiomkin, hedge fund consultant; and Yair Seroussi, former chairman Bank Hapoalim.
