Strategic Affairs Minister Gilad Erdan will on Sunday launch 4IL, a comprehensive campaign to unite the pro-Israel community worldwide against the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions movement and other organization operating against Israel.

The launch will take place during New York City’s annual Celebrate Israel Parade.

This year, the parade will celebrate 50 years of a reunited Jerusalem. Erdan and New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo will lead Sunday’s events along with members of Knesset, Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat and US lawmakers.

The ministry’s worldwide campaign aims to cultivate a robust online community of pro-Israel activists looking to combat BDS in a meaningful way.

The “unprecedented initiative to unify the activity of people around the world who are standing up for Israel, and combating the anti-Israel propaganda and delegitimization being spread online,” will contain videos and graphics to help deliver a strong message against the lies that delegitimizers spread against Israel, the ministry said in a statement.

It will be launched in concert with the Act.IL app, so users can carry out straightforward tasks in less than two minutes and combat BDS activities using their smartphones.

“The State of Israel is under constant attack by delegitimizers working to demonize Israel online and undermine our legitimacy as the nationstate of the Jewish people,” Erdan said. “That is why I am initiating an international effort to unite Israel’s supporters around the globe and provide them with a platform that strengthens their activities, with tools that will help all of us fight hatred together, and with resources to spread the truth.”

Miss Israel 2013 Titi Aynaw and actress Ariel Mortman of the Netflix series Academy will be the faces of the ministry’s campaign.
