Ga’ash golfers revel in 2017 Club Championsh­ip

The Ga’ash Golf Club is proud to have completed the 2017 Club Championsh­ips with an excellent atmosphere prevailing over the two days.

More than 70 golfers started the tournament, with 52 golfers making the cut for the final day shot-gun start with the awards ceremony held at the AGALA coffee shop at the completion of the round.

Ashly Silber emerged as the men’s club champion, Nikita Ben Ami the ladies’ champ, while Amos Aharoni took the super seniors title.

The runners-up were Greg Elliot, Gill Sadeghi and Shmulik Almagor.

Net winners in the open sections went to Yoav Shenhav, Hadash Alon and Mervyn Rabinowitz.

The gross-score cups in the men’s B Division went to Gadi Iram, followed by Miki Hertzog and Hugo Wainstein winning the net prize.

Elisha Hillel captured the gross-score title in the C Division followed by Arik Heanig with Jean-Mark Zimour winning the net prize.

The super senior’s B Division was won by Illan Mendelsohn, with Meir Shani in second place. First place in the net-score competitio­n went to Zadik Bino.

Nearest-to-the-pin prizes, sponsored by the AGALA, went to Ilan Mendelsohn, Jean-Mark Zimour and Yoni Itzhak.

At the enjoyable awards ceremony, club captain Avi Dagan thanked Ga’ash CEO Gili Peleg the for organizing the tournament and the club members for the participat­ion in the prestigiou­s event.
