EIGHTEEN YEARS OF OFRA

Eighteen years after her death, singer and actress Ofra Haza continues to awaken longing and interest – not only in Israel, but abroad. An exhibition about her iconic figure and love of her Yemenite Jewish and Hebrew culture, originally presented two years ago as part of Israeli Design Season Holon, will be displayed in Budapest, Hungary, as part of the Art Days Festival. The successful festival, with the support of the Hungarian government, aims to present Jewish culture to local viewers and a wider European audience.
