FOZ Museum honors Pastor Jack Graham
Dr. Jack Graham, the pastor of Prestonwood Baptist Church in Plano, Texas, was honored at the Friends of Zion Museum in Jerusalem this week. Graham was in Israel with congregants from his church, which is home to over 45,000 congregants, many of whom visit the State of Israel every year with him and his wife.
Graham, his family and congregants from the church toured the Friends of Zion Heritage Center’s state-ofthe-art museum, which features seven exhibitions including: interactive characters, 3D technology, touch screens and surround sound. The FOZ Museum tells the heroic stories of the gentiles who rallies to assist the Jewish people throughout the Zionist movement as well as in critical times like the Holocaust.
After their tour, Graham was honored for his support of the State of Israel and the Jewish people. The pastor noted that he was “amazed by all the technology and moved by [the museum’s] incredible message of celebrating the history of Zionism. My congregants are going to be amazed too. Thank you, Dr. Mike Evans, the Friends of Zion Museum is one of the best museums I’ve ever been to. It is a must see for all Christians!”
Graham has served as president of the Southern Baptist Conference, the largest American Christian denomination. The SBC has over 16 million members and Graham is a member of President Donald Trump’s Faith Initiative advisory board and hosts the show PowerPoint, which is seen by millions every week. He also served as honorary chairman of the 2015 National Day of Prayer.
Evans, the founder of the Friends of Zion Museum, explained, “The alliance between the State of Israel and these amazing Christian Zionists is an unstoppable partnership. The Friends of Zion Museum is educating and activating these defenders of Israel and the promise. I also want to thank Dr. Jack Graham for his support of Israel and for bringing thousands of Christians to learn about Zionism.”
Evans also serves on the Trump Faith Initiative, which in December 2017 awarded President Donald Trump with the Friend of Zion Award in the Oval Office in recognition of his decision to move the US Embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.
