- • By AMY SPIRO

A slate of funny people are heading to Israel next week for the biannual Comedy for Koby fund-raising tour.

Tom Rhodes, Kira Soltanovich and Alex Thomas will be joined by organizer and comic Avi Liberman for shows in Ra’anana, Modi’in, Beit Shemesh, Jerusalem, Gush Etzion and Tel Aviv.

This tour marks the 22nd Comedy for Koby show and all proceeds go to support The Koby Mandell Foundation, specifically Camp Koby for bereaved children. The foundation was started in 2011 by Rabbi Seth and Sherri Mandell after their son, Koby, was murdered by terrorists.

Rhodes, who has been working as a comedian since age 17, travels around the globe performing stand-up. He first appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno in 1996, and soon became a regular on Comedy Central and other networks. In 2012 he released a Netflix stand-up special, Light, Sweet, Crude.

Soltanovich, a native of the USSR, was a regular on shows like Girls Behaving Badly and has appeared on The Tonight Show, Jimmy Kimmel Live and more. Her stand-up specials have aired on Showtime and Amazon Prime.

Thomas got his start as a choreographer on the TV show Soul Train, then worked as a writer on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and later appeared on The Jamie Foxx Show for three seasons, as well as doing a variety of voiceover work.

Comedy for Koby will be in Ra’anana on December 11, Modi’in on December 12, Beit Shemesh on December 13, in Gush Etzion December 15, perform two shows in Jerusalem on December 16 and be in Tel Aviv December 17. Tickets are NIS 130 or NIS 200 for VIP seating and available at comedyforkoby.com
