Last Tuesday, Partner Communications held its annual conference, titled ‘Partners in Excellence.’ Partner CEO Isaac Benbenisti and Yuval Keinan, Partner deputy CEO, presented their plans for 2020 and distributed awards for outstanding employees of the year. The evening ended with a performance by Tomer Meisner and Ivri Lider, who was presented with a surprise birthday cake, handed to him by Benbenisti on the stage.

Dario Cecchini

The star of the Netflix series Chef’s Table, Italy’s famous chef Dario Cecchini, arrived in Israel and was treated to a fabulous culinary evening at chef Haim Cohen’s Dixie restaurant in Tel Aviv. Cecchini is in Israel to participate in the ‘Culture and Culinary’ event that will take place at the Club Hotel Eilat, owned by businessman Moshe Bublil. Last Thursday, Cecchini’s visit began with an exciting tasting alongside fellow chefs Haim Cohen and Alon Levy of dishes that will be featured during the weekend festivities.

Rotem Rosen

Dozens of close friends, business colleagues and top tier lawyers attended NY Real Estate Tycoon Rotem Rosen’s house-warming party last Wednesday at his penthouse in the Trump Park Avenue Tower, which featured an outdoor kosher BBQ, lots of wine and an unplugged performance by Israeli musician and comedian Yair Nitzani.

Among the guests were Rabbi of the Western Wall Shmuel Rabinowitz; senior partners at the Kasowitz law firm; President Trump’s lawyers; partners at Blank Rome; Donald Trump Jr.’s lawyers; Israeli real estate mogul Michael Shvo; NY luxury developer Ezra Nasser; partner at Blank Rome Marilyn Chinitz; and Amnon Parizat, CEO of IGE.

The only person who was missing was Rosen’s stunning girlfriend of the past few months – a well-known businesswomen of Russian origin who was seen intimately close to him in Israel at a private dinner with Finance Minister Moshe Kahlon.

Ruderman Foundation

Jay Ruderman, president of the Ruderman Foundation, together with his wife

Shira, CEO of the family’s foundation, attended last week’s Academy Awards ceremony. The Rudermans applauded the Academy for giving an award to an actor with Down’s Syndrome, since the foundation, which works to integrate people with disabilities into society and promote strategic philanthropy, also works to promote and integrate disabled people in the film, television, and entertainment industries.

Mellanox Technologies

About a week after Mellanox Technologies released its financial statement, which shows that the company’s shares are at an all-time high, the company held its annual international sales conference last week at booth #10 at Expo Tel Aviv.

Mellanox CEO and founder Eyal Waldman decided to hold the event in Israel in an effort to bolster the local economy and its tourism industry by supporting local businesses. The cost of producing the conference was over NIS 5.5 million.

The weeklong conference included lots of events and trips all over the country. The huge NVIDIA-Mellanox deal has not yet received approval from the Chinese regulator, partly due to the trade war between China and the US, as well as the coronavirus outbreak. Waldman sent a special heartfelt greeting to Mellanox employees in China who could not travel to Israel for the conference.
