La festa dell’architettura di Londra
The London Festival of Architecture
In giugno la città si trasforma in un grande set di ricerca A research and design jamboree in the capital for the whole of June
The city-wide celebration involves the Design Museum out in the dockland area, the Royal Academy of Arts and the Victoria & Albert Museum. The British Council is also taking part in the festival with its International Architecture Showcase exhibition. A giant Dolls’ House will be set up in the Shelter Cafe, at 88, Old Street: architects and designers will be invited to design one “room” each (in an empty shoebox), and all the rooms will then be assembled and connected together by ramps, ropes and ladders to create a sprawling, multi-coloured series of spaces
