A collection of designs and pictures tells the story of Minotti products after they have been installed in an actual context A journey around the world in search of the “homes” products have found: ahead of the publication of the latest catalogue presenting the next collection, which always arrives in time for the Milan Furniture Fair, Minotti has published two books – Homes and Hospitality – presented in a special box set entitled An Inspirational Journey. The graphics department of the Meda-based company tracked down its chairs, armchairs, sofas, complements and accessories to demonstrate their versatility once place in their real interior design contexts. Alongside the traditional residential destinations it decided also to include a selection of contracts awarded in the hotel, catering, corporate and retail sectors as well as in yachting, which is proving to be an interesting growth market, but focusing more on quality than on quantity. Contexts range from the Scandinavian villa designed by John Robert Nilsson Architects, in which David Fincher shot a number of scenes of the movie The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, starring Daniel Craig, to the Sanlorenzo SL104 yacht designed by Dordoni Architects. The list also includes stores on some of Europe’s most elegant shopping streets and the Kunstmusem in Lucerne by Jean Nouvel.
