TO BEN SEI PREMI. E lo scorso maggio l’influente luxury forum statunitense Robb Report l’ha definito “il miglior motoryacht nella categoria tra i 100 e i 200 piedi”. Parliamo di Grande 35 Metri, l’attuale ammiraglia del cantiere Azimut, decisamente fuoriclasse per innovazioni tecnologica e design. Gli interni di questa imbarcazione sono di particolare fascino e li firma Achille Salvagni, yacht designer romano con una grande esperienza anche in campo residenziale. La sequenza di ambienti illuminati da grandi vetrate è caratterizzata da un layout sinuoso e da un interior decoration che gioca sugli opposti (opaco-lucido, materico con inserti d’ottone, bronzo, acciaio lucido).

FEWER THAN SIX awards. And last May the influential US luxury magazine Robb Report called it “the best motor-yacht in the 100-200 feet category.” We are talking about the Grande 35 Metri, the current flagship for the Azimut fleet, a world beater in terms of technological innovation and design. The vessel’s delightful interiors are by Roman yacht designer Achille Salvagni, who also has extensive experience in the residential sector. The interior layout, illuminated by large windows, is marked by flowing lines and an interior décor based on the use of contrast (matt-gloss, textured surfaces with brass, bronze and polished steel inserts). L’architetto ha fatto realizzare su suo disegno anche gli arredi, utilizzando essenze pregiate come mogano lucido e quercia (quest’ultima – tinta grigio con inserti di wengé – si ritrova anche nei parquet). Nel salone del main deck il grande divano crea un’isola per il relax che non interferisce con le pareti e le finestrature, circondato da un insieme di elementi (tra cui il contenitore con base di marmo di Carrara e sportelli di mogano lucido, e il coffee table con top di foglia d’alluminio anticato). La speciale piacevolezza del salone si ritrova anche nella suite armatoriale sul main deck, dove tutto ruota attorno al letto, con base di pelle color ghiaccio (Mastrotto) e testata rivestita di tessuto ( Focus di Zimmer Rohde). Una delle ampie vetrate furnishings fitted, made from quality woods such as polished mahogany and oak (the latter – grey stained with wengé inserts – also appears in the parquet). The large sofa in the main deck lounge creates an island for relaxation without interfering with the walls and windows, which are surrounded by a set of elements (including a storage unit with Carrara marble base and polished mahogany doors, and coffee table with antique-effect aluminum leaf top). The appeal of the tasteful lounge is repeated in the master suite on the main deck, where everything revolves around the bed, with its ice-coloured leather base (Mastrotto) and fabric-covered headboard ( Focus by Zimmer Rohde). Una scala elicoidale unisce tutti i ponti, dal lower deck alla timoneria: gli scalini sono di onice retroilluminato, i fianchi esterni e interni hanno finiture diverse e preziose, dal bianco laccato al madreperla. Tante le aree esterne e le terrazze sul mare di questa nuova imbarcazione dal profilo filante: una grande piattaforma balneare pivotante sviluppa una “beach area” di 12 metri quadrati a poppa. A spiral staircase connects all the levels, from the lower deck to the pilothouse. The steps are rear-lit onyx, while the inner and outer sides have various exquisite finishes, ranging from white lacquer work to mother-of-pearl. This beautifully streamlined boat has many outside areas looking out over the sea. A big pivoting swim platform creates a magnificent 12-square-metre beach in the aft area. The 30-square-metre bow sundeck, meanwhile, offers sofas, multiple sun pads and a hydro-massage tub.
