DESIGN MULTISENSORIALE MULTI-SENSORY DESIGN

FINO AL 28 OTTOBRE 2018 il Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum di New York ospita The Senses: Design Beyond Vision, mostra che racconta come il design multisensoriale possa amplificare la capacità di ricevere informazioni, esplorare il mondo, soddisfare esigenze essenziali. Curata da Ellen Lupton e Andrea Lipps, con l’allestimento di Studio Joseph, l’esposizione accoglie i lavori di oltre 65 progettisti da tutto il mondo che illustrano come il design sensoriale riesca a migliorare la qualità della vita, in particolare delle persone con disabilità. La mostra stessa è stata concepita in modo che chiunque possa visitarla. (Francesca Oddo)

THE COOPER HEWITT, SMITHSONIAN DESIGN MUSEUM in New York is currently hosting the exhibition The Senses: Design Beyond Vision, through 28 October 2018. The exhibition explores how multisensory design can enhance our ability to receive information from our environment, explore our world, and satisfy basic needs. Curated by Ellen Lupton and Andrea Lipps, with exhibition design by Studio Joseph, the exhibition features works by over sixty-five designers illustrating how multisensory design can improve the quality of life, particularly for people with disabilities. The exhibition itself has been designed to be accessible to everyone.
