Anatomia di una straordinaria amicizia

Al Museo della Satira a Villa Bertelli un’imperdibile mostra dedicata a Aldo Buzzi e Saul Steinberg

Letteratura, arte e cibo. E’ una liaison dissacrante quella che caratterizza l’estate al Museo della Satira e della Caricatura di Forte dei Marmi, con i suoi messaggi visivi che corrodono l’animo e fanno sorridere, riflettere, guardare oltre. Da sabato 20 giugno gli spazi espositivi di Villa Bertelli (sede temporanea del Museo) ospitano infatti la mostra: “Aldo Buzzi e Saul Steinberg. Un’amicizia tra letteratura, arte e cibo”. E’ il racconto del sodalizio tra due personaggi straordinari, che nel secondo Novecento hanno lasciato una profonda traccia di finezza intellettuale: lo scrittore Aldo Buzzi (1910-2009), noto ai lettori per “L’uovo alla kok” e “Cechov a Sondrio”, e Saul Steinberg, il celebre disegnatore romeno-americano (1914-1999) suo grande amico fin dagli anni Trenta al Politecnico di Milano e considerato, ancor oggi, il più grande disegnatore e maestro d’ironia del suo tempo. In rassegna centocinquanta pezzi tra libri, riviste, fotografie, corrispondenza, disegni, alcuni provenienti da un fondo mai esposto prima e in gran parte inedito, composto da circa settanta disegni e piccoli oggetti d’arte donati direttamente o scambiati da Buzzi e Steinberg in oltre cinquant’anni di corrispondenza. Sabato 19 settembre, in chiusura di stagione, la quarantatreesima edizione del Premio Satira Politica alla Capannina di Franceschi, con riconoscimenti ai talenti dell’umorismo e della satira in diversi settori dell’intrattenimento, della cultura e dello spettacolo, dal giornalismo al disegno, dalla televisione al web. ANATOMY OF AN EXTRAORDINARY FRIENDSHIP

At the Museo della Satira, a “must-see” exhibition devoted to Aldo Buzzi and Saul Steinberg Literature, art, and food. An irreverent liaison for this year’s summer at Forte dei Marmi’s Museo della Satira e della Caricatura; visual messages that cut to the quick and make us smile, reflect, and look ahead. Beginning on Saturday, 20 June, the exhibition spaces at Villa Bertelli (the museum’s temporary home) are hosting the Aldo Buzzi e Saul Steinberg. Un’amicizia tra letteratura, arte e cibo. The story of a camaraderie between two extraordinary personalities whose sharpness of intellect deeply etched the culture of the latter half of the 20th century: writer Aldo Buzzi (19102009), best known to readers for his L’uovo alla kok and Cechov a Sondrio, and Romanian-born American cartoonist and illustrator Saul Steinberg (1914-1999), still considered the greatest illustrator and master of irony of his time, united by a friendship dating to the Thirties, to their time together at the Politecnico di Milano. On show are one hundred and fifty items: books, magazines, photographs, drawings, letters, and pieces from a collection never exhibited before now and mostly unpublished, composed of about seventy drawings and small artworks exchanged by Buzzi and Steinberg in more than fifty years of correspondence. On Saturday, 19 September, at the close of the season, the forty-third edition of the International Political Satire Award ceremony at the Capannina di Franceschi acknowledges the talents of humorists and satirists in various sectors of entertainment, culture and show business, from journalism to design, from TV to the web.

В музее сатиры проходит выставка, посвященная альдо будзи и солу стейнбергу Литература, искусство и еда. Это определения, которые характеризуют лето в музее Сатиры и Карикатуры в Форте дей Марми путем передачи визуальных посланий, мимо которых нельзя пройти равнодушно. Начиная с субботы 20 июня экспозиционные залы Виллы Бертелли (временное размещение музея) принимают выставку “Альдо Будзи и Сол Стейнберг. Дружба между литературой, искусством и едой”, которая рассказывает о дружбе двух необыкновенных персонажей, которые оставили после себя след интеллектуальной остроты: писатель Альдо Будзи (1910 – 2009) знаком читателям по романам “Яйцо всмятку” и “Чехов в Сондрио”. Сол Стейнберг, известный художник румыноамериканского происхождения (1914 – 1999) был его большим другом, начиная с тридцатых годов, когда они познакомились в Политехническом университете г. Милана. Он до сих пор считается великим художником и маэстро иронии второй половины двадцатого века. В собрании представлены сто пятьдесят экспонатов, среди которых книги, журналы, фото, рисунки, письма, предоставленные неизвестным ранее фондом, состоящим из около семидесяти рисунков и небольших предметов искусства, подаренных или полученных в обмен между Будзи и Стейнбергом за период более чем пятидесяти лет переписки. В субботу, 19 сентября, в честь закрытия сезона состоится сорок третий выпуск Премии Политической Сатиры, проведение которой планируется провести в заведении Capannina di Franceschi с признанием талантов юмора и сатиры в разных сферах развлечения и культуры, начиная с журналистики и рисунка и заканчивая телевидением и интернетом. www.museosatira.it
