LA GAL­LE­RIA SU­SAN­NA OR­LAN­DO com­pie qua­rant’an­ni. Nel­la pic­co­la stan­za di ap­pe­na due me­tri per set­te dal­la qua­le è par­ti­ta (era il ma­gaz­zi­no del pa­dre An­ge­lo, dal qua­le ha ere­di­ta­to la pas­sio­ne per l’ar­te) ha al­le­sti­to nel tem­po mo­stre di gran­di Mae­stri del No­ve­cen­to ita­lia­no e di no­ti ar­ti­sti con­tem­po­ra­nei. Dal 2013 a Pie­tra­san­ta – in una se­de più gran­de e sug­ge­sti­va – Su­san­na pro­se­gue la sua mis­sion “cer­can­do nel­la pro­du­zio­ne de­gli au­to­ri che più ama la scin­til­la, l’in­can­te­si­mo, l’eb­brez­za del sen­so dell’ar­te” con espo­si­zio­ni ma­gi­che ed evo­ca­ti­ve. | Gal­le­ria Su­san­na Or­lan­do turns for­ty this year. She be­gan in 1976, ex­hi­bi­ting great 20th-cen­tu­ry Ita­lian ma­sters and well-kno­wn con­tem­po­ra­ry ar­tists in the small spa­ce – ju­st two me­ters by seven – used as a sto­re­room by her fa­ther An­ge­lo, from whom she in­he­ri­ted her pas­sion for art. Sin­ce 2013, she has fol­lo­wed her cal­ling in her lar­ger and mo­re sug­ge­sti­ve gal­le­ry in Pie­tra­san­ta, “sear­ching out, in the pro­duc­tion of the au­thors she mo­st lo­ves, the scin­til­la, the wit­che­ry, the in­to­xi­ca­tion of the sen­se of art” wi­th ma­gi­cal and evo­ca­ti­ve ex­hi­bi­tions.
