I miei primi quarant’anni

LA GALLERIA SUSANNA ORLANDO compie quarant’anni. Nella piccola stanza di appena due metri per sette dalla quale è partita (era il magazzino del padre Angelo, dal quale ha ereditato la passione per l’arte) ha allestito nel tempo mostre di grandi Maestri del Novecento italiano e di noti artisti contemporanei. Dal 2013 a Pietrasanta – in una sede più grande e suggestiva – Susanna prosegue la sua mission “cercando nella produzione degli autori che più ama la scintilla, l’incantesimo, l’ebbrezza del senso dell’arte” con esposizioni magiche ed evocative. | Galleria Susanna Orlando turns forty this year. She began in 1976, exhibiting great 20th-century Italian masters and well-known contemporary artists in the small space – just two meters by seven – used as a storeroom by her father Angelo, from whom she inherited her passion for art. Since 2013, she has followed her calling in her larger and more suggestive gallery in Pietrasanta, “searching out, in the production of the authors she most loves, the scintilla, the witchery, the intoxication of the sense of art” with magical and evocative exhibitions.
