A MENO DI MEZZ’ORA DI AUTO dalle spiagge di Forte dei Marmi, il paese di Levigliani è un piccolo angolo di paradiso immerso tra il verde dei boschi e dei castagneti, nel cuore delle Alpi Apuane. Qui si trova il sistema turistico-culturale “Corchia Underground” costituito dalle grotte Antro del Corchia, dalle Miniere dell’Argento Vivo e da un sistema museale che racconta la storia della lavorazione della pietra e della comunità di Levigliani. Il complesso carsico dell’Antro del Corchia ha un’estensione di oltre settanta chilometri e vale veramente una visita. L’ingresso si raggiunge in navetta dal paese godendo nel tragitto di una bellissima vista sulla costa. Poco lontano, le Miniere dell’Argento Vivo si visitano in circa un’ora, accompagnati da una guida e muniti di caschetti da minatori. Per tutto il mese di luglio e agosto è attivo un bus navetta gratuito dalla costa. Levigliani è anche un’ottima base di partenza per numerosi percorsi trekking, adatti anche alle famiglie, alla scoperta dei luoghi più belli delle Alpi Apuane. Da non mancare infine il primo week end di agosto il Levigliani Wine-Art Festival, suggestivo percorso enogastronomico tra i vicoli del paese.
THE LEVIGLIANI MOUNTAIN SHOW | something for the entire family in the land of the caves, mines, marble and . . . fine food | Less than half an hour by car from the Forte dei Marmi beaches, the small town of Levigliani is a sort of land of magical delights hidden in the green of the woods and chestnut groves in the heart of the Apuan Alps. It is home to the Corchia Underground cultural tourism system comprising the Antro del Corchia caves, the Miniere dell’Argento Vivo mines, and museums that tell stories of stone-working and the people of Levigliani. The Antro del Corchia karst complex, which in its entirety extends for more than seventy kilometers, is truly worth a visit. The guided visit to the nearby Miniere dell’Argento Vivo lasts about one hour – and miner’s helmets are de rigueur! A shuttlebus takes you there from the town – and offers the opportunity to enjoy beautiful views of the coast along the way. And, in July and August, another shuttle service from the coast takes you to Levigliani free of charge. Levigliani is also an excellent starting-place for trekking excursions – with many trails suitable for family groups – to discover the most beautiful sites – and sights – the Apuan Alps have to offer. Рядом с гротами заслуживают посещения копи живого серебра, на осмотр которых в сопровождении гида достаточно будет одного часа. На протяжении июля и августа желающие посетить эти места смогут воспользоваться бесплатной услугой шаттла, который забирает отдыхающих непосредственно с побережья Версильи. Левиньяни представляет собой отличный старт для маршрутов трекинга, прекрасно подходящего для всего состава семьи, желающей открыть самые красивые места Апуанских Альп. В первый уикенд августа в Левиньяно гостей встречает Wine-Art Festival, который подарит всем желающим возможность открыть прелести местной кухни под открытым небом на улицах селения.
