REOPENING OF THE MAGNA GRECIA COLLECTION

T: +39 0814422149 www.museoarcheologiconapoli.it After almost twenty years, one of the oldest and richest collections in the world of antiquities from Magna Graecia reopens to the public. From the end of the 18th century - until the first decades of the 20th century - these antiquities began to flow into the then Real Museo Borbonico, mainly through purchases and donations. Dopo quasi vent’anni, riapre al pubblico una delle più antiche e ricche collezioni al mondo di antichità della Magna Grecia che, dalla fine del XVIII secolo fino ai primi decenni del XX secolo hanno cominciato a confluire nell’allora Real Museo Borbonico, principalmente attraverso acquisti e donazioni.
