Over 80 years of experience in the world of education: Istituto Secoli presents the Fashion Show inspired by “Fermo Immagine - Still In. Mind”
This June, Milan will be hosting the Secoli Fashion Show, the exclusive event staged by Istituto Secoli - The School of Making Fashion. An example of Italian excellence in high-quality education, the institute is a point of reference for studies in the art of designing and creating a collection, making it the ideal place in which to acquire the expertise needed to work successfully in the fashion world. For the 36th edition of the show, final-year students will tackle the ethereal concept of enduring visual memories. In fact, their collections presented on the runway will be inspired by the theme of ‘Fermo Immagine - Still In. Mind’, a temporal emotional evocation, drawn from an image that has taken shape in our thoughts and frozen in time. Attended by a prestigious audience including talent scouts, journalists and industry representatives, the occasion will open with ‘Designer to Watch’, a project dedicated to the school’s most promising alumni and their original outfits, spawned from individual inspirations and creative visions. “With over 80 years of experience, and always in step with market developments, today Istituto Secoli is a centre of fashion education that boasts an international reach, striving to cultivate talent and transmit the culture of Italy’s finest production and craftsmanship,” says Matteo Secoli, the school’s director. “And ‘Designer to Watch’ best represents our philosophy. Launched in 2017 as a glamour showcase, it offers a fantastic chance for visibility to our top former students who have stood out with their creative skills.”
