Ronimus, who has worked with the likes of Kranium, Noah Powa and Runkus as a saxophonist says “I’ve always wanted to become a recording artist but opted to learn an instrument, as well as the business aspects of the music industry before making my grand entry to artistry.” “I wanted to fully understand both the technical and business aspects of music before I stepped out, and based on the feedback received since the release of my first single, it seems to have paid off. I believe the fact that I am a musician who has worked with several artists as well gives me a big advantage because it has allowed me to strengthen the skill set needed to craft my own sound and style” stated Ronimus. Ronimus, who was Born and raised in Kingston but currently lives in Brooklyn, New York says his mother and his Kingston College classmates gave him the courage and tools needed to pursue his musical dreams from an early age. “My mom bought me my first keyboard when I was around ten years old. Since then I have gone through different phases in musical interests. Starting from lunch time cyphers at Kingston College, to migrating to the United States, where I was taught how to play the saxophone by the church I was attending” Stated Ronimus. Currently Ronimus has his sights set on securing his musical break via his first project entitled “Ronimus I”, produced by Rimel ‘Bittaz’ Smith, and engineered by Mostafa Zaghloul. “Ronimus I” was released on December 8, 2020 and is currently available on all streaming platforms.
