With the implementation of partial lockdowns of many businesses, conducting business in a virtual manner has been utilized way more than before. From opening a bank account online to paying bills from electricity to loans – the landscape for doing business has saved individuals lots of time. Many businesses that were in the process of developing online facilities are now fully functioning in that area, and the benefits of these services from ordering food online using courier services to deliver groceries ordered from the comfort of your home, are evident.

Pay Utility Bills

Whether it is your electricity, water or internet bills – paying online is an option as long as you have the relevant credit card or facility to do so. With most local banks establishing their own secure user apps, you may pay directly through your bank account online or through the app or website for the respective utility company. Why stand it line when you can do so from wherever you are at, office, home or on the go.

Order Fast Food

Before the pandemic, ordering food online was less sought after mainly because of the added cost for delivery which is at times the cost of a full meal. However, with more platforms for ordering food being established – the arena is much more competitive and as business would have it, prices are much more reasonable and if you look hard enough you may be able to find a good deal somewhere. With awesome ways to pay, ordering food has never been easier.

Tax office lines are the biggest turn off for most Jamaicans. The line is always extended outside the office doors and at times has proven to be a complete waste of time, especially at lunch hour. But now, you can make payments online – which limits the amount of time required to visit the offices.
