Congratulations to the staff and stakeholders of Mother’s on their ruby anniversary; a milestone that traditionally symbolizes devotion and passion. 40 years of dedicated and consistent contribution to the real authentic Jamaican brand.
Mother’s patty has been a staple in Jamaican food and culture and has brought to our communities, through its 16 restaurants islandwide, opportunities of employment, development of skills and a chance to be a part of the Mother’s Enterprise Ltd. family.
The community and by extension Jamaica, is thankful for all Mother’s has contributed to the life and palates of the thousands of individuals, visitors and locals alike, who have experienced the unique Mother’s brand and taste throughout the 40 year history.
As a company that sources most of its products in Jamaica, Mother’s serves as a contributor to the agriculture sector and a supporter of our 220,000 registered local farmers from whom it purchases produce and other agricultural items.
I take this opportunity to encourage all our local restaurants to buy local, support our farmers and advance our commitment to developing the Jamaican economy.
Today, as we celebrate this milestone not only for the Mother’s family but for Jamaica as whole, we pray that the work continues to touch the lives and livelihoods of many Jamaicans. 40 years strong: 40 years of promoting growth and advancement for Jamaica.
