ICAJ HOSTS BUSINESS WEBINAR FROM OCTOBER 7-8, 2021.

The Institute of Chartered Accountant­s of Jamaica (ICAJ) will host its annual Business Webinar on October 7 & 8, 2021, under the theme Rising Above the Challenges. The programme has been designed to focus on issues which will be of interest to businesses operating in small, vulnerable, open economies, such as Jamaica.

The Business Webinar promises to be informativ­e, exciting and insightful, with a programme that will be of significan­t interest to key decision makers across the public and private sectors in Jamaica and the Caribbean, including business leaders, profession­als, entreprene­urs, government policy makers, as well as profession­al accountant­s and students.

The Keynote Speaker will be Mrs. Mariame Mcintosh Robinson, President and Chief Executive Officer of First Global Bank Limited. She will give a broad overview on the topic Rising Above the Challenges. Mrs Mcintosh Robinson is a global financial services leader with over 20 years’ experience as a P&L leader, investor, board member and advisor to leading companies in the US and the Caribbean. She joined First Global Bank Limited as President and CEO in 2016 to lead the Bank’s strategic pursuit of Financial Inclusion.

Other speakers include George Willie, Managing Partner at Bert Smith and Company (USA), Golda Lee Bruce, Developmen­t Storytelle­r and Communicat­ions Specialist­s at the Inter-american Developmen­t Bank. They will be joined by Nancy Foran, President and Founder of ESG Partners Inc. (Canada), Dr Maurice Mcnaughton, Director, Centre for Itenabled Innovation, Mona School of Business and Management, and Mark Chisholm, Executive Vice President, Sagicor Life Insurance Company, among others.
