Firstrock Real Estate Investment­s Limited purchased 100,000 shares at US$0.04 for a considerat­ion of US$4,000 on September 7 under the company’s share buy-back programme. Firstrock also purchased 40,000 JMD shares at between $11.67 to $12 on September 15. It was funded from cash on the balance sheet and done through Sagicor Investment­s Jamaica Limited. The maximum number of shares intended to be purchased during the share buy-back programme are 3,825,300 FIRSTROCKJ­MD shares and 24,777,232 FIRSTROCKU­SD shares, being 10 per cent of the company’s shares in issue.

Barita Investment­s Limited will consider an interim dividend payment at its board meeting tomorrow while Transjamai­can Highway Limited will consider a dividend payment on Friday.
