RECORDING artiste Papie Keelo has teamed with Shawn Storm on the track titled Fighter Jet. “We worked on our parts and it worked out nicely. The feedback has been tremendous so far,” the deejay told the Jamaica Observer.

Produced by Bussed Records, the track was officially released on April 14. Featured on the

G23 rhythm, the collaboration was seamless as both artistes worked in good synergy and the result was a high-quality production.

“The connection was always there. I always go to Street Vybz Thursdays to make a connection; I have always been a fan. I’ve been on a number of photo shoots and video shoots with Vybz Kartel, so it is not a new thing,” the artiste, whose real name is Robert Taylor, said.

Since its release, the track has been getting positive feedback and amassing great support online and off.

“My hope for this song is that it will reach an international level; and I believe it can. In terms of feedback, people are surprised. Many people are happy because this is a big move and progress for me,” the artiste expressed.

In the game professionally for the past seven years, Papie Keelo is an artiste who keeps his audience entertained with his versatility and catchy lyrics. Known for tracks such as Inna Mi Zone, Club House, Money Sound and Call On God, the artiste has been building a name for himself, with one of his biggest accomplishments being his touring stint with reggae artiste Luciano in 2015.

With his eyes set on one day performing at major local events such as Sumfest and Sting, the artiste is continuing to hone his craft.

He told the Observer that new projects are in the pipeline.

“You can look out for more from me soon. I have a few new songs and videos coming up,” Papie Keelo shared.
