Don’t let up on school rules

-

THE EDITOR, Sir: I WHOLEHEARTEDLY agree with Peter Espeut, in last Friday’s Gleaner, that the hair of the three-year-old Hopefield Prep boy was unkempt. Parents and students must show respect for the school and what it requires its students to conform to.

A school has to maintain its standards. Every part of society has standards and rules to which we have to conform.

Don’t use your child as a scapegoat to make a private school change its rules to suit your tastes. Send your child to a school that fits your lifestyle.
