SIP to ‘Exhale’ and ‘Elevate’

- Kimberly Goodall Gleaner Writer

AFTER PARTICIPATING in a weekend filled of motivational sessions, tertiary students from across the Rock got the opportunity to let their hair down and turn the heat up on the dance floor with Exhale and Elevate.

The two-night party series, hosted by Sagicor’s Inspire Project (SIP), included exciting fire breathers, cultural steel pan orchestra, a dynamic deejay taking beats to pulsating heights and a palatable combination of s’mores and marshmallows via bonfire.

Exhale, a cocktail party by the beachside, was definitely a night to remember. Cocktails aside, the highlight of the night came from the man of the hour, Mark Chisholm, sweeping the sand with dance moves, seemingly ageless with his burst of energy and vitality. The millennials tried their hardest to keep up, but they were just no match for his prowess. Talk about inspiring in the boardroom and on the dance floor!

Meanwhile, ‘Elevate’ cleared the way for DJ Smoke, who fed music from the ‘wheels of steel’ to the feet of the young and the young at heart. Swaying to the beats from in the streets and beyond, it was clear that this young crowd escaped to a prolific state of euphoria.

All in all, Exhale and Elevate played their part in motivating everyone in attendance.
