Fight back against killers

-

THE EDITOR, Sir: THIS TSUNAMI of homicidal inclination has now overcome and flooded our homes with grief all across the nation.

The recent killing of a schoolboy for his watch and phone can only be articulated as an act of depravity. All attempts by well reasoning Jamaicans must be made to deter it from becoming an acceptable reality. Regrettably, a young and bright life was lost in an act so unimaginable, unexplainable and despicable.

Let us as a people redeem ourselves. Society’s assailants must be stopped. We must fight back. One too many lives are being lost by these depraved acts.

One hopes that the offender will not present a defence that insults the very nature of common sense. CHRIS BROWN christopherstp.brown@gmail.com
