Population and housing censuses in Jamaica

MOST COUNTRIES of the world conduct a census, periodically, and a very important role of a census is to provide basic statistics on small areas and small population groups with little or no sampling errors. Since the end of the 19th Century, the International Statistical Congress has been promoting international censuses, recommending that all countries in the world conduct them.
