Lion Nadine Bushell – Dynamic DG District 60A
DISTRICT GOVERNOR Nadine Bushell started her involvement with our organisation as the charter president of the Upper Belmont Leo Club in 1996. She also served as the Leo Associate representative for Leo clubs in Trinidad and Tobago,
She remained a Leo for only five years and quickly moved on to become a Lion in 2001, in her Leo Club’s sponsoring Lions Club – the Port-of-Spain, Upper Belmont Lions Club. In her club she has worked to assist the Belmont community, rising to the office of club president in 2004/2005.
Lion Nadine has served at the district and multiple district levels as zone chair, region chair, cabinet and council secretary/treasurer and as vice district governor.
She holds a BSc in sociology and management from the University of the West Indies and an MSc in development and project planning Nadine Bushell from the University of Bradford, United Kingdom.
Her contribution to the advancement of the Lions Club has been recognised through seven District Governor’s Appreciation Awards and two International Presidents Awards.
In her professional capacity, Lion Nadine has worked in the Trinidad and Tobago Public Service and the United Nations Development Programme, and is currently employed as the programme coordinator at the CARICOM Implementation Agency for Crime and Security.
Lion Nadine, Centennial District Governor Sub-district 60A, would very much like to work towards the Lions organisation being viewed as a service organisation making its mark to improve the condition of the lives of the Caribbean people, and to promote the development of the region as a force to be reckoned with globally.
