BLACK FRIDAY is always the day following Thanksgiving Day, which is celebrated on the fourth Thursday of November. Black Friday typically signals the beginning of the holiday shopping season. While Black Friday shopping used to be a late night to early morning venture, for better or worse, many major stores now begin their Black Friday sales on Thanksgiving evening from as early as 5 p.m.

Walmart will open at 6 p.m. on Thanksgiving. Online shoppers are in luck as they can shop their Black Friday sale all day online on Thanksgiving!
Aside from being able to shop in your PJs, shoppers have another bonus at Walmart this year. Walmart has increased their online Black Friday inventory by over 50 per cent, compared to last year, and more deals than ever will be available online.
