Quest to be­come a mas­ter wayfinder

AN AD­VEN­TUR­OUS teenager sails out on a dar­ing mis­sion to save her peo­ple. Dur­ing her jour­ney, Moana meets the once-mighty demigod Maui, who guides her in her quest to be­come a mas­ter wayfinder. To­gether they sail across the open ocean on an ac­tion-packed voy­age, en­coun­ter­ing enor­mous mon­sters and im­pos­si­ble odds. Along the way, Moana ful­fils the an­cient quest of her an­ces­tors and dis­cov­ers the one thing she al­ways sought: her own iden­tity.

Moana is a 3D com­puter-an­i­mated mu­si­cal fan­tasy-ad­ven­ture film pro­duced by Walt Dis­ney An­i­ma­tion Stu­dios and re­leased by Walt Dis­ney Pic­tures. It is the 56th Dis­ney an­i­mated fea­ture film. It is directed by Ron Cle­ments and John Musker, and co-directed by Don Hall and Chris Wil­liams. The film in­tro­duces Auli’i Cravalho as Moana and fea­tures Dwayne John­son as Maui.
