Who is Kurt Gordon?

-

IF THERE were ever an individual that was singularly driven to excellence by dedication and commitment, it would be Kurt Gordon. Although forcefully built like a truck – hence his alias ‘Truk’, which, by the way, is also his name spelt backwards – the guy is positively an introvert who you would ordinarily mistake in a roomful of persons for an altar boy. If for some reason that room was transformed into a gym or exercise floor, his personality and general demeanour would be transformed into a fitness demon.

The Dynamic Lifestyle clients got to meet my friend and brother Kurt last week, while he was vacationing in Jamaica, as he worked out with us at the Training Studio for eight days.

So who really is Kurt Gordon?

Kurt is an extremely passionate person when it comes to health and fitness. He has a mission to motivate and encourage individuals towards a more positive, healthy, active lifestyle by raising awareness on the importance of physical health.

He has a bachelor of arts in computer science and a natural talent for graphic design. Kurt has worked in the world of graphics for more than six years. However, the love for fitness was a pull for him and it allowed him to attain a certificate from the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America. Upon attaining this certification, he began personal training as a hobby, gaining the encouragement and respect from his clients and colleagues. At the start of 2016, he moved to Canada and pursued his passion for fitness on a whole new level by attaining a second personal training certification from Canada Fitness Professionals (CanFitPro). Kurt’s goal is to improve his clients’ range of motion, practical strength, and cardiovascular fitness. If you are a novice, he hopes to prepare you for an upward swing towards your best fitness level. If you are experienced, he hopes to help you push past your boundaries. He believes that it is our will that dictates our abilities. He wants to constantly refine your workouts together and will rely on your feedback to make your experience the best it can be.
