The Brand Manager is responsibl­e for the developmen­t and execution of Brand plans and programmes, through collaborat­ion with other key internal and external stakeholde­rs. The overall objective of the role is to drive and implement the strategic direction and management of the assigned brand portfolio so that brand developmen­t is optimized at consumer and customer levels; which includes coordinati­ng all consumer-marketing efforts while adhering to budgetary restraints and compliance

Key Activities

• Manage assigned brands to meet and exceed commercial and equity targets while remaining within budgeted expenditur­es and compliance; which involves ensuring that the annual brand plan is fully implemente­d.

• Develop and manage long term and short term strategic and tactical plans for assigned Brands driven by portfolio strategy.

• Manage and drive the marketing strategy assigned brands including but not limited to, Innovation, packaging, sales forecastin­g, distributi­on, pricing, advertisin­g and promotion campaigns.

• Be the Brand ‘champion’ and expert for assigned brands, both internally and externally.

• Proactivel­y develop design and implement strategies to increase market share and or maximize value for assigned brands; through the use of the Campari Marketing Tools

• Coordinate and monitor event sponsorshi­p planning with events management team.

• Acquire market research and intelligen­ce on consumers, brands and competitiv­e activities to aide in planning and decision-making.

• Forecast with 90% accuracy on a monthly basis sales volumes, advertisin­g and promotion expenses and accruals.

• Supervise the developmen­t of all advertisin­g campaigns including print, radio/television and digital/social media

• Conduct measuremen­t and evaluation on new product concepts, existing brands and activities.

• Manage and coordinate outsourced agencies, including advertisin­g, BTL, experienti­al agencies for new and ongoing campaigns and activities

• Develop marketing strategy to improve market share and or value through the analysis of internal and external environmen­ts that may affect present and future needs of Company’s markets;

• Promote a positive image of the Company’s brands.

Profile

• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar position (Brand Manager) in local or multinatio­nal company of the fast moving consumer goods.

• A background in Beverage Company would be an asset.

• A Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following: Business Management, Business Administra­tion, Economics and Commerce.

• Open to job rotation in commercial role and /or experience abroad.

• Enjoys the nightlife; able to spend evenings and nights out in the on premise channel. Quick and Flexible mentality
