If you’re reading this, then I am celebrating my 20th birthday today (January 24), so I’m probably somewhere acting like I own the day, the week too, and that’s exactly my mood for the rest of the year! #Twenty17 #Ready
Don Andre vs YVAs
Mr Tom Cruise himself, Don Andre, has come out swinging at the organizers of the Youth View Awards (YVAs) over his exclusion from this year’s list of nominees. In an Instagram post (why do I get the feeling that most of this year’s ‘news’ will come from Instagram), he questioned why his mega hit, Tom Cruise, is not up for any of the five possible categories, and declared that the song has been a worldwide hit. My thoughts: yawn! The song didn’t get nominated because not enough people nominated it; and that can’t be YVAs problem because, well, it’s not up to them.
Lisa’s not-so-plastic rice
Okay, so Lisa Hanna took to Instagram the other day to claim she’s been caught in the #PlasticRiceSaga. The MP posted a video of a pot of rice she had been cooking that she deemed to be plastic, noting that she would send samples to the relevant authorities. Well, the results came back and it turns out that there was no plastic in Lisa’s rice. Some social media fanatics have already jumped on the ridicule train, claiming that maybe the former Miss World just doesn’t know how to cook. Yikes!
