Introducing ‘THE VAULT’

- Mickella Anderson YOUTHLINK WRITER

ROMEICH ENTERTAINMENT has done it again. Added to a multi-talented promotional team, a successful clothing line and an artiste management section is a line of ultrasleek and sought-after knapsacks called The Vault, the latest from the Romeich brand.

Speaking with Youthlink, CEO Romeich Major disclosed, “Everybody kind of always looked up to me to have various styles of knapsacks. I have a bike crew, and all of us used to wear some spikey-spikey bags. A lot of people used to say is me make the knapsacks, but it wasn’t mine. I just used to travel, and when I travel, I buy unusual [items], so from then and there we got a love for knapsacks.” He continued, “I sent one of my reps all the way to China to find a good company that had great quality and so on, and we just came up with that design and we made the bags.”

Since their debut late last year, the bags have taken social media by storm, which does not come as a surprise given the notorious promotional prowess of Romeich and his team. Currently, there are only four colours available – pink, black, burgundy, and army green – but, according to Romeich, not for long.

“We are going to have more bags coming; different styles, different sizes as well. These colours might come back, but we will have various colours such as royal blue trimmed with red, and red trimmed with gold. Those are the two I’m sure about for now. I’m also trying to do a bag that represents Jamaica with the Jamaican colours – that is my main focus, because I’m so obsessed with my country.”

The bags are sold for $6,000, with the

option to be customised for an additional $1,000. Overseas customers can cop theirs for US$70 in Canada, New York and Miami. “They are going very fast. I do free delivery in Kingston. The best way to order the bags is to DM me on Instagram @romeichwear or email romeichentertainment@gmail.com.”

When asked what he’s up to next, the promotional boss says his focus remains on fast-rising dancehall sensation Shenseea, the first lady to his brand who has recently been nominated for four YVAs. “She’s my biggest motivation at the moment and my biggest push. I’m focused mainly on her career to carry her to that next level, not just to conquer Jamaica and the Caribbean, but we want to go international.”
