FUN FACT:

Yaaman Adventure Park is also home to the 60-year-old Prospect College. The semi-military institution houses 36 boys and provides them with a fully funded education. It was the mantra of plantation owner Sir Harold Mitchell to instil in young black men strong discipline and proper education. Today, his family sustains this legacy while guests to the property, especially tourists, offer help to the students from time to time. It’s pronounced ‘yaah man’.
