The Haitian cont in1958: gent of 28 to the 1958 Caribbean Internatio­nal Camp of the Boys’ Brigade, which opens at the University College of the West Indies on April 9, arrives by an army plane. The Overseas Secretary of the Boys’ Brigade W.H. McVicker arrived on Monday, April 7 from London, along with the United Kingdom contingent led by T.H. Harwood. Archdeacon T.H. Phillips, who is one of the three internatio­nal vicepresid­ents of the Boys’ Brigade, came with the group. McVicker will remain in Jamaica until April 29 then go on a tour of the other islands, visiting Boys’ Brigade units. 1972:retain Westmorela­nd

Westmorela­nd, in retaining the title, perform creditably and get their haul of points from the long-distance races and field events. Champion boys are B. Williams of St Mary and H. Evans of Corporate Area Zone 4, while Dionne Brown, of St James, tops the girls.
