Best wishes for Kensington
FOR 20 years, the Kensington Primary School has been a living example to communities in Greater Portmore and farther afield that ‘Hard Work Brings Success’. This motto of the school, which has been embraced by teachers, students, and their parents, is largely responsible for the enviable position, that it holds as one of the leading primary schools in Portmore.
I am, therefore, pleased to extend congratulatory greetings and highest commendations to the principal, staff, and students, and the wider school community, as they celebrate twenty years of excellence.
Education remains a most valuable tool in the development of our society. Many persons can attest to the fact that they achieved personal success and made significant social contributions as a result of gaining a solid educational background, beginning with their primary school. It is, therefore, encouraging for the future of Jamaica that this school stands tall among similar institutions that continue to inspire excellence in academic performance, while unearthing the creativity and talents of our students.
As you celebrate the past and look towards the future, the school is urged to remain fervent in its efforts to promote the virtues of excellence, discipline, and hard work among students. The preparation they receive today will ultimately serve them well as they move on to other institutions of learning.
I commend the board of management, principal, and teachers for going beyond the call of duty to support and guide the students in your care.
Commendations also to the parents and the wider community for their contribution towards the school’s remarkable success.
Happy anniversary and best wishes, Kensington Primary School!
