Building of block-and-steel fence at entrance to school and playing field.

Erecting perimeter fencing around playfield.

Tiling of students’ bathroom (male/female).

Building drains to remove water from the compound.

Building of skips to store garbage.

Blocking of mound (lower & upper school).

Planting of trees to keep classrooms cool.

Planting of grass in open spaces to reduce dust.

The school has adopted three homes: St Monica’s Home for the Aged, Mustard Seed Children’s Home, and Stratmore Gardens Home making termly donations to them in the form of food items and assisting with other projects.

Working with other primary schools within and outside of the region, sharing ‘best practices’.

Providing employment for community members; security, maintenanc­e, janitorial. Clubs & Societies The school participat­ed in and has won awards in the Optimist Oratorical Contest (trophies, plaques, certificat­es )

National Primary Championsh­ips (gold, silver, bronze medals) placed in top 10 overall

Jamaica Cultural Developmen­t Commission (JCDC) at Parish and National levels – Dance: 14 medals – Music: 19 medals – Speech: 21 medals
